MijoShop - Multi-Store

Post by hermes »

Hello! Use MijoShop to make virtual stores and need to know a few things:
1 - I need to do multi-store by http://www.mysite.com.br, http://www.mysite.com.br/store1, http://www.mysite.com.br/store2 is possible?

2: each store can have your template, modules, etc?

3: How can I do to test it before buying. You create a test environment?

4: and if I have a main site and "duplicate" it in other domains. example:

main site - wmysite.com.br

sites "duplicate" sitecustomer.com.br with templates, modules different?

thank you

MightySites can help you to run virtual sites like http://www.mysite.com.br/xxx
It will automatically create symlink /xxx pointed to root folder, so virtual sites will use same files as main site.
2: each store can have your template, modules, etc?
Yes, each site can have own database tables, so its contents will be different. But files are same.
3: How can I do to test it before buying. You create a test environment?
Unfortunately, we don't provide a test a version. I emailed you installation instructions, they will help you to understand how it works better.
4: and if I have a main site and "duplicate" it in other domains. example:
main site - wmysite.com.br
sites "duplicate" sitecustomer.com.br with templates, modules different?
MightySites can help you to run virtual sites like http://xxx.mysite.com.br/
You will need to create a parked domain xxx.mysite.com.br for main site mysite.com.br in your hosting panel first.
Both main and virtual site will also use same files in this case.

Yes, it's not possible to share MijoShop database data.
So each virtual site will have own independent shop.

MijoShop is not a native Joomla extension, it doesn't use native Joomla code for executing database queries, that's why it's just technically not possible to share its database data :(
