This is terrible for SEO, when suddenly all links are different. In the plugin settings I could not do anything that I came back to the old link structure.
I immediately installed the old version 2.3.0 again.
Best regards...

If you have phpMediaEmbed ext installed, upgrade to phpBB 3.2.6 may cause issues
I just upgraded to phpBB 3.2.6, and afterwards the joomla wrapped forum is inaccessible: https://halonorge.no/community
The error message given is "0 - Media site 'blab' does not exist".
EDIT: This was due to a plugin incompatibility, see below.

Re: Do I still need phpBB installed?
Yes, it requires usual phpBB installation in 1st level subfolder like /phpBB and it's just a bridge.

Do I still need phpBB installed?
Where can I find any screenshots for p8pBB bridge?
Does it require me to have a regular phpBB on my site and "p8pBB bridge" is just a "bridge" between phpBB and Joomla?

Re: Some Questions 2
No, these are different domains.
Joomla should be installed in root: http://site.com
phpBB should be installed in first-level subfolder: http://site.com/phpBB3
Bridge menu item URL will be like http://site.com/forums
