Post by rauldias »

I am current using Seo Glossary: http://www.joomunited.com/products/seo-glossary

I am not completly satisfied with it.

Can you post a comparation table with Alter Glossary?

Thanks

Sorry, please check list of features for each component.
I guess Alter Glossary has most features of SEO glossary, but Alter Glossary has better performance (it's really faster because special caching is used), better search algorithms, native Jooma associations for multi-lingual glossary, terms aliases, term abbreviations, display list of terms used in Joomla article, custom handlers to add support for 3rd-party extensions.

I tried SEO Glossary for a site I'm redesigning but was constantly frustrated with it. For one thing, there's no way to add an Alt tag with the images, which would seem to be SEO 101. Contacting the developers about this didn't result in any action or changes, just "maybe in the future" which was over a year ago and still no changes. I had my eye on Alter Glossary for a long time as a possibility and recently finally bought it. I'm glad to say that, while I'm still exploring it and testing it, so far I'm really impressed with it and am getting the features I need. Crossing fingers that I don't encounter any serious issues. :-)

Thanks for feedback!

In most cases the word SEO is just a word. Just take an extension, add the word SEO in extension title and make customers feel something about SEO
