Would it be possible- Text Separators

I was wondering if it would be possible to exclude Text Separators in the url?

I know this is a bit different, so I thought I would ask. I am sure that this may be something that a lot of people would really like to have without the need to install a sef plugin/component.

Aww, Buggers! I wish it were. I could use a sef plugin, but it is not worth the extra load it has.
