Template Site ID

Post by websolprov »

The notion of templates is touched too briefly in the documentation, what does Template Style ID in the overrides section actually do? I want to have a uniform LOOK for all my sites using the same template, but vary the colours and the logo from site to site.

Template style ID allows you to override default template style for a site.

So multiple sites can use share template styles and actually display same template style as default in backend, but MightySites will override default style selection, so each of your sites can have own default style.

In most cases colours and logo are configured in template style settings, so using separate default template style allows to have different colours and logos in each site.

There is no need to override default template style selection if each site uses own database tables.
