how does it work?
need to provide multiple installation of joomla + virtuemart
each installation with separate database
some folders are separated (eg the folder images)
is this possible?
only the core files of joomla + virtuemart that will be shared?
multi virtuemart2+joomla2.5 independent?

It is not possible:
all sites will have same files (all files) if you want to share core Joomla files.
