When updating Direct alias in joomla backend, I get this alert: "Updater: : Extension: Could not open"
And this error msg: "Update invalid" and
"Manual update is required", and that I could find more in the Customer area--supposedly at Alterbrains. But there is no info, as far as I can see.
Strangely, I cannot find any description of how to do a manual update of extensions. However I found the files in the plugin folder. Is it safe to just replace with the new files (after backup)?
