Hi,

What is the impact on SEO results if MightySites is used? Can a slave domain (alias) goes up the page ranking? And how about putting Adsense Ads on the slave sites?

It completely depends on how you setup your sites.

Regarding SEO and subdomains, I tried to find a Joomla component to generate XML sitemaps for a domain and associated subdomains. I could not find one but did find a company with a script that could be run as a cron job to generate a single sitemap for both the domain and any number of subdomains. Link is below:

If MightySites can make the routing to the subdomains appear like domain categories, I am probably going to go with the MightySites approach. The page ranking and Adsense issues should disappear if that's possible. Need to look at the MightySite installation instructions before committing.

MightySites doesn't affect Joomla routing.

You can combine multiple sitemaps into single:
