Everyone here will probably know this, but for the dunces like me who only read instructions after everything else has failed and who definitely like to learn from experience;
When you restore from an Akeeba Backup file, it will create a new configuration.php file. It does not restore the original. So your mighty Mightysites will not work after the restore.
Keep a copy of the original configuration.php separately. Then replace the restore generated one with it and all should be well.

Thanks for the info, alternatively you can just re-save Joomla global configuration on master site.
