You can contact the developer and ask if the extension uses native Joomla database layer.

Having Joomla database table is not a guarantee that it's possible to share database data, an extension should use native Joomla database layer as well.

Hi thank you for responding.
Joombah jobs tables sit inside the joomla table so does that mean it should be possible to share?
Do you have any guidance about creating symlinks for these scenarios?

Not sure about Joombah Jobs but others use native Joomla database layer and we can share their database tables (slave sites will load database data from master site). All sites should use same Joomla version and same versions of these components installed. Additionally all users should we shared as ...

Note that both sites should use same MySQL server and MySQL user of slave site should have access to database of master site (all privileges).

I think it's possible with MightySites: we can share only Joomla users and single jomsocial users table, so all users will be same (both sites will have same users) but all other jomsocial data will be unique for each site.
