No, MightySites doesn't sync anything.
It shares content, i.e. all sites will load articles from sub1.domain.com.
So all sites will always display same contents and any content-related action on any site will affect all sites.

... Not possible, you can either share ALL articles, or not share them. But you can setup a specific category for each site and configure site site to display articles only from its category.

Would it be possible to get the jomsocial toolbar as a joomla module? that way i can display the toolbar above my forums in wrapper mode when users login? this would be an excellent feature and it should display when the user has a new message like it does.
