Direct Alias works with menu item alias but not with any component directly.

I have a joomla 2.5 site and most of my items are in K2. Please advise whether Direst Alias is compatible with it.

If a menu item goes to an article, then using the Direct Alias for that menu item would, in effect, take the user to that article, and that page could be accessed without the article ID, couldn't it?
At least it seems to work that way on my new site.

Install and publish 'System - Direct Alias' plugin, next find a Direct/Relative switcher next to 'Alias' field of menu item.

It has related terms feature, so you can edit Term A, enter Term B as related.
Next Term B is displayed in 'See also' list of Term A and vice-versa.
