Yes, template files are stored in same folder, but Joomla stores template settings in database, so each site can have different settings.
Probably except Yootheme templates because they store settings in file.

... as usual. All files are same for 2 domains (if they use same Joomla installation), but probably you can setup different paths in Media Manager settings and at least it will use different folders. The articles are managed as usual.

That basically sets it so everyone can use one setting and lvl 2 only can use other settings... thsi allows me to set up a add free lvl with the commision and a premium lvl without the commision.
