Does this work with xampp for the desktop coputer?

Hi I'm trying to run my site from my desktop so I can make changes before I change my live site is there a way I can run this through Xampp or another program on my PC Computer running Windows 10?

You have to create virtual hosts manually, in this case you can load websites via full-feature domain names but not via
http://localhost.
