... adopted phpBB styles because phpBB is displayed inside Joomla template and HTML-CSS-Javascript conflicts can occur. phpBB or Joomla can have members, you will be able to copy users from Joomla to phpBB and vice-verse.

This would give members a great chance to create "their" community. I could publish more modules and they could arrange the most used ones to the top ... if this would be possible, I'd buy.

Yes, date joined, active status, email, and you can also map CB or JomSocial profile fields to phpBB fields.
