Re: Pre-Sales Questions
Many thanks for the quick reply, I had read that forum but didn't realise that wrapper mode was frameless as jfusion uses wrapper or framless... confused, but not any more! I had another quick question im using cb with login/register via facebook and twitter (cb addons), will ...

Re: Pre-Sales Questions
Hello, This extension looks great and I've done alot of reading on this forum!... I've been trying to figure out how to get jfusion to work framelessly... had to settle with wrapper but I need urls to change on each forum, I feel pretty deflated and defeated! My question is how much ...

Re: Pre-Sales Questions
Sorry one more question: On my present set-up using jFusion, the only place you can see when a person last visited the site is in the CB profile. If someone logs in on the phpbb side and doesn't visit the Joomla side then the 'last visit' info isn't ...

Re: Pre-Sales Questions
I currently run a site using Joomla 1.5, CB 1.2, phpbb3.05 and jFusion. I want upgrade the site to the latest versions (and make a few other mods). Although jFusion works it has a few drawbacks and quirks that I'm not entirely happy with it. This bridge ...

Re: Pre-Sales Questions
... and you can't modify it - though you can change phpBB template as usual. The bridge itself doesn't produce any additional queries (I believe JFusion does), additional queries are executed on profile update/login actions. Frameless integration always loads both Joomla and phpBB, but Joomla ...

Re: Pre-Sales Questions
Hopefully this is the right place for this question. I really want to purchase this bridge as a replacement for Jfusion but I just can't seem to get past the fact that it requires Joomla to be installed in the document root. This just seems like such a bad idea. This means anything ...

Re: Pre-Sales Questions
I highly recommend this bridge. I had used jfusion but as you said, so many hacks and core changes needed to be made for any custom integrations. At times that even meant to jomsocial, community builder... and I had faces issues with several templates ...

Re: Pre-Sales Questions
... only. Your site looks good btw. My site has 12,000 members, 600,000 forum posts and about 2,000 joomla articles. When I built the site 3 years ago Jfusion seemed the best solution to synchronise joomla with phpbb3. Unfortunately jfusion is only really designed to synchronises users and logins. ...
