Bridge work with phpbb that have already members ?

Hello,

I have a phpbb forum, with lot of members.
If I use p8pBB bridge, is that members will be integrated in Joomla directly ?
Or this bridge only work with new members inscriptions after it is installed ?

I have another question :
The phpbb administration control panel is integrated in the Joomla administration or separatly ?

Bridge can copy phpBB users to Joomla.

phpBB ACP runs as usual, it is not wrapped in Joomla administration.

Does it just copy username and password or other details such as date joined?

Yes, date joined, active status, email, and you can also map CB or JomSocial profile fields to phpBB fields.

Any phpBB style can be used in stand-alone bridge mode, so phpBB will be displayed as usual.
Wrapped bridge mode requires specially adopted phpBB styles because phpBB is displayed inside Joomla template and HTML-CSS-Javascript conflicts can occur.

phpBB or Joomla can have members, you will be able to copy users from Joomla to phpBB and vice-verse.
