Category ID shows in URL

Post by mroed »

Hi
After installing Direct Alias my URLs are much better, thank you.
I was wondering why the category ID is shown in the URL? They way you describe how this plugin should work this ID should not be in the URL.

I now have a URL like this: www.domain.com/8-category/345-my-article
and had hoped I would get this: www.domain.com/category/345-my-article

Thanks,
Michael

You should create a menu item for category (Category - Blog or Category - List)

Current URL part '8-category' indicates that this category doesn't have own menu item and homepage is used.
