Silly question - slave sites created from slave sites.

Post by piprees »

Can you create slave sites of slave sites?

For example i have localtradeclub.com which is my master site
I have created localtradeclub.co.uk as a slave site and i will be creating localtradeclub.us as a slave site

Am i then able to create localtradeclub.co.uk/deal as a sub-slave site of localtradeclub.co.uk but still share the same user database, jomsocial componant etc?

Reason - i want to have unique article data for the sub-slavesite unique to the geographic region.

Yes, it is possible, slave site's database will be cloned to new site.
Note that MightySites doesn't work with folders like localtradeclub.co.uk/deal
